The company is launching out of stealth today with $27 million in seed funding led by First Round Capital and Y Combinator , and is generally available to new users. Ploy was founded by Bryant Chou, the co-founder and former chief technology officer of Webflow , giving the team a direct line of sight into where website builders stop short of actually driving pipeline. Early adopters span software and services: data platform Hex uses Ploy to support enterprise account-based marketing through large-scale generation of branded landing pages, and Clay is using it to create hundreds of programmatic SEO pages from its proprietary data . Agencies including Tonik and TNT Growth build and manage customer websites on the platform, with TNT Growth deploying pages across more than 50 client accounts . The timing matters because of how AI is changing discovery. Chou argues that owned digital properties remain a critical business asset as AI-powered search tools and autonomous agents increasingly summarize and navigate content on behalf of users . For founders and operators evaluating where to invest marketing budget in 2026, Ploy is a bet that the website itself, kept continuously updated by agents rather than quarterly redesigns, becomes the asset that compounds.
