Grok Bot is a beta release from xAI (now operating as SpaceXAI following its acquisition by SpaceX) that packages autonomous agents as always-on teammates rather than chat assistants. Bots have their own computer, sign into the tools you already use and work across apps, inboxes, and more, finishing jobs end to end and only coming back when something needs approval. The pitch is aimed at operators drowning in multi-step work across CRMs, inboxes, LinkedIn, and internal tools that lack clean APIs, with early internal use cases spanning sales outbound, marketing campaigns, office ops, and engineering bug fixes. The launch matters now because it lands in the middle of a broader shift from single-turn agents to persistent workers with cloud desktops. Bots share a computer of their own in the cloud, so jobs do not stall when the user steps away, and they can work across apps, tools, and websites, including platforms with no clean API or MCP. Onboarding leans on demonstration rather than configuration. The best way for a Bot to learn a workflow is to ask it to follow along the next time you do a job, and it saves the workflow as a routine, takes corrections, and runs it on its own next time. Users can also run multiple Bots in parallel, place them in group chats, and let them hand off work between each other without a human in the middle. Distribution reflects the new corporate structure post-acquisition. Grok Bot is in beta and available today for SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers on desktop and iOS , with Windows and Linux desktop versions also available and Android listed as coming soon . Enterprise access is gated behind a waitlist, which suggests xAI is prioritizing the existing Cursor developer base and paid Grok tier before opening the door to larger deployments.
