Vorflux is a cloud-based coding agent aimed at engineering teams that want to move beyond the copilot model, where an engineer still approves each step, toward an autopilot that runs the full software development lifecycle on dedicated machines. Instead of running locally, each session provisions a raw EC2 box and uses a swarm of sub-agents to install dependencies, request secrets, seed data, and wire up integrations across front-end, back-end, and mobile repos, then snapshots the machine so future sessions fork from a working state. From there, planner and reviewer sub-agents draft and critique a plan, orchestrate parallel builds, run end-to-end tests in a browser and in iOS and Android emulators in the cloud, and route the result through an AI code reviewer and a merge queue that resolves conflicts. The launch matters because most cloud coding agents still cannot actually run or test the app they are editing, which forces engineers to pull work back to localhost and stay in the loop. Vorflux is pitching a workflow where a founder or engineer can tag an entire Linear backlog, have each ticket work on its own machine overnight, and review large diffs from a phone. It also ships with a Codex partnership that lets users bring their own model subscription and run at subsidized rates. The company is founded by Prasanna Sankar, previously co-founder and CTO of Rippling , based in Chennai. Vorflux emerged from stealth with a $15 million seed round led by Y Combinator, Peak XV Partners, and Alliance DAO. Early design partners referenced in the launch include Giga, a YC company using Vorflux to ship with a small engineering team.
