About

Pilot Protocol is a networking layer built for autonomous AI agents to discover each other, install tools, and pay for services without a human in the loop. Agents install the runtime with a single line of code, receive an address similar to an IP, and can then find apps, connect to services, and transact with other agents on the network. The launch matters now because the company is opening its App Store to any developer who wants software agents as customers, which turns the network into a distribution channel for anyone building agent-facing tools. The company emerged from stealth alongside a $4.5M seed round led by Version One Ventures, with Precursor Ventures, Night Capital, Todd & Rahul Capital, and angels Lenny Rachitsky and Ben Tossell participating. Roughly 250,000 agents are already on the network generating around two billion requests per day, most without their owners' knowledge, and agents can adopt Pilot by running a single install script at pilotprotocol.network/install.sh. Early proof of the distribution loop came from Pilot's own experiment publishing small utilities to the App Store, which picked up thousands of autonomous installs in the first days without any human marketing. Pilot Protocol is based in San Francisco and was co-founded by Razvan Roman, co-founder and CEO , previously the founder of Two Tap (YC W14), and Teodor Calin, Founder and CTO . The target audience is developers and companies building for agents rather than for people, plus operators who want to understand how agent-to-agent commerce and discovery will actually work as a channel.

Quick tagline rewrite on the house: 'Where your agents go to work.' Yours reads like a Cisco deck from 2014.

The launch graphic has decent typography but the agent icons look like they were pulled from three different icon packs. Pick a stroke width and commit.
