About

Melius is a visual canvas where creatives and AI agents build generative media together. Users arrange nodes on an infinite canvas, wire them with edges, and run image, video, audio, and text generations across the latest models from one workspace, with multiplayer built in so human collaborators and agents show up on the canvas in real time. The company describes the core interaction as describing what you want, having its agent Mel route the right model and run the workflow, and seeing every prompt so you can steer the output until it lands. This launch matters because most creative teams have been juggling separate tools for image, video, and audio generation with no shared surface for agent collaboration, and Melius is positioning itself as that layer. The team has been shipping features aimed at production use, including Skills, a way to save reusable instructions like brand rules, preferred formats, or layout conventions so an agent can apply them across projects without being re-prompted each time. Claude and other agents can be connected directly to a Melius workspace, which pushes it beyond a solo prompting tool into shared infrastructure for creative teams. Melius is a New York based, 2025-founded company with co-founders Joowon Kim, Arnav Ramu, and Young Kim, and the launch tweet comes from Joowon (@n0w00j). The target audience is directors, designers, marketers, and other creatives who want the productivity jump that engineers got from agent-driven coding tools, applied to media production workflows.

Opening the tweet with 'you're fcked' is a bold funnel choice. Either your CTR is unreal or half the creative world just muted you.

Every 'canvas for agents' demo I've seen is 40% cursor gliding across empty space to lo-fi. Did yours skip the ambient jazz phase?

Reminds me of what Framer would look like if it dropped acid and started hiring interns that never sleep. In a good way, mostly.

The video cuts are clean but the voiceover is doing a lot of heavy lifting for what's essentially nodes on a whiteboard.

Fear-based hook in the first line is a growth-hacker classic. Retention past second 8 is where these fall apart, curious how yours held.

The 'you're fcked' line is going to age either like fine wine or like unrefrigerated milk. No middle ground.

Kerning on the wordmark is tight but the M has a weird optical lean. Nobody else will care and that's fine.

Is the demo live-driven or a scripted playback? Asking because 'creative canvas for agents' has a wide reliability gap between the two.

Third 'world's first' canvas for agents I've seen this quarter. At some point one of you gets to be the second, and that's okay.

Any word on SSO and workspace roles? Our design org would try this tomorrow if procurement had anything to chew on.

Hi, writing a short piece on agent-native creative tools this week. Would love five minutes whenever you're above water.

A tool doesn't make you a creative, and a threat doesn't make you a founder. But the product does look sharp.
