Sick video with clear messaging, but it hasn’t gained much traction.

About

Kashu is a B2B payment platform that lets businesses tap their credit card limits and move that capacity as cash, sending it to a bank account, a brokerage like Robinhood, or platforms like Coinbase without the typical cash-advance fees, holds, or limits. The product is aimed at operators who use credit as working capital and want to direct it toward things cards usually cannot cover, including rent, payroll, and other business expenses, while still earning the usual card points and rewards. Onboarding runs through an ID and face verification flow, after which users link their cards and convert available credit into spendable funds inside a Kashu wallet. The launch matters because the team is going public after a long build with, by the founder's own admission in the launch tweet, exactly $0 in outside funding, positioning Kashu against incumbent cash-advance products and merchant lenders that charge high rates or impose long settlement windows. Kashu operates as an independent financial technology platform rather than a bank, with money transmission services provided by Monarch Technologies, a licensed money transmitter. The company is based in Scottsdale and was started by a small group of entrepreneurs who hit the same liquidity problem in their own businesses. The team includes co-founder and CEO Grey Friend, COO Miles Pietsch, Head of Partnerships John Polimeni, and Head of Growth Cory Middleton. Grey, who posted the launch announcement, has a systems engineering background and is leading the rollout from waitlist to live product at kashupay.com.

Raised exactly $0 is a flex I will be stealing for my own launch tweet. Pour one out for the seed round.

The cut at 0:14 where the card flips into the dashboard is genuinely clean. Whoever edited this earned their coffee.

How big is the team? Asking because B2B payments usually requires a legal department larger than most startups.

Reminds me of an early portfolio bet of mine in the AR financing space, except they had 30 people. Curious how lean you stayed.

Before I forward to finance: SOC2 status, SSO support, and do you do net 60? I cannot champion a vendor without those three.

"Next-gen finance, in your pocket" is fine but "Your money, without the wait" actually says what Kashu does. On the house.

Anya Brennikov4/28/2026

This might be the last B2B payments product launched without an agent in the loop. Enjoy the analog era while it lasts.

Moving capital with ease, you say. Would be a shame if there wasn't an on-chain settlement layer hiding somewhere in v2.

Capital that waits is capital that doubts. Ship the rails, the philosophy follows.

Genuinely curious what the wedge is here. Every founder I know wants faster access to credit, every bank says no, the gap is the whole game.

Following up because I cover B2B fintech: any color on which segment you're starting with? Happy to chat off-platform whenever.
