About

HappyRobot builds an AI agent platform that automates the phone calls, emails, and paperwork that keep operations-heavy industries running. The company started by deploying a single voice agent inside a US freight broker two years ago and has since expanded into a full orchestration layer for enterprises across logistics, energy, telecoms, and insurance. This launch marks a $150 million Series C at a $1.2 billion valuation, with the platform now serving more than 150 enterprise customers including DHL, Kuehne + Nagel, Naturgy, Repsol, and Uber, plus eight of the top ten freight brokers and two of the top three ocean carriers . The round was led by Prysm Capital and co-led by Eurazeo, with Bankinter, Kfund, Koch Disruptive Technologies, Orange, and T Capital (Deutsche Telekom's venture arm) among the investors, alongside existing backers Andreessen Horowitz, Base10 Partners, and Y Combinator. HappyRobot was founded in San Francisco in 2022 by Pablo Palafox, his brother Javi Palafox, and their childhood friend Luis Paarup, who serve as CEO, COO, and CTO , and went through Y Combinator's S23 batch. Pablo Palafox previously completed a PhD in AI at the Technical University of Munich. The launch video, a mock evening news broadcast reporting on an "uneventful day" where shipments arrived, outages self-resolved, and flights rebooked before passengers noticed, frames the pitch behind the funding. HappyRobot is positioning its agents as the quiet back office of the real economy, and the Series C is aimed at pushing that model deeper into supply chain, energy, and adjacent sectors where the work is still done over phone lines and email threads.

"Enterprise Superintelligence" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. Try "The AI workforce that actually picks up the phone." You're welcome.

Cool tweet but the real question: SOC2 Type II, HIPAA where relevant, and can you sign a DPA that our German subsidiary won't laugh at?

One voice agent to 150 enterprises in two years is a nice arc. The tweet cutting off mid sentence is somehow the most freight-broker thing about this launch.

Tomás Beltrán8d ago

That opening line has zero hook. "We deployed one voice agent in a freight broker" should have been the first frame, not buried after the valuation flex.

Freight brokers finally get an AI that says "let me check on that load" and means it. The old ones just meant lunch.

Voice agents coordinating freight, energy, and supply chain. Someone's going to tokenize the dispatch queue and we all know it.

Curious how much of "superintelligence" here is a router, a prompt, and a very patient onboarding team. Not shade, just the actual stack question.

Genuine question, not a dunk: how do you measure that these agents are actually "superintelligent" vs just consistently mediocre at a task humans hated doing?

Any public docs or a self-serve sandbox? Would love to see how the agent handoff works before I pitch this internally.

Every launch tweet this month ends with "...and" followed by a truncated URL. Learn to write for the character limit, founders.

The real superintelligence would be a launch tweet that doesn't lead with the valuation. Bury the raise, lead with the customer story, watch replies go up.

A path made of one deployment at a time is still a path. Nice to see a company that didn't start with a manifesto.
