About

Foaster is an AI agent platform that takes on the work traditional consulting firms charge enterprises millions to do around AI transformation. Its agents run interviews across an entire company in parallel, then assemble a continuously updated model of how the organization actually operates, including workflows, dependencies, and gaps where AI could be applied. Out of that map, Foaster produces an AI roadmap in days rather than months and stays with the customer to guide rollout, with human consultants stepping in only for judgment calls. The product is aimed at mid-market and enterprise leaders running AI, operations, or transformation programs who have struggled to turn slide decks into adoption. Beyond the roadmap itself, every employee receives personalized guidance tied to how their specific role is changing, which is the part the founders argue human consultants cannot deliver at scale. The pitch is a faster, more granular alternative to the McKinsey-style engagement, with the same firm responsible for the analysis also responsible for execution. Foaster is part of Y Combinator's Spring 2026 batch and was founded by Raphaël Dabadie (CEO) and Alexandre Combes (CTO), who spent a year advising enterprises on AI deployment before concluding that the binding constraint was visibility into how work actually happens inside companies. Combes previously built Répondia, an AI voice agent product used by restaurant groups in France, and the two co-authored LLM benchmarks studying model behavior that circulated widely in the AI community.

Replacing consulting firms with agents is the most consultant pitch I have ever read. Did you generate this with the agents?

Chinedu Okonkwo5/7/2026

ok wait, mapping a whole company in days is a wild claim. What happens when the org chart and the actual workflows disagree, which they always do?

Curious how you handle data residency when you're ingesting an entire company's internal docs. EU clients are going to ask before the second meeting.

The launch video has zero hook in the first 3 seconds. You open on a logo card when you could open on the agent actually shredding a deck.

Devraj Banerjee5/7/2026

tagline rewrite, on the house: 'The consultants you don't have to feed.' You can Venmo me later.

every transformation deck I've seen ends up in a Notion page nobody opens. show me the part where the agent actually makes someone do the thing.

Rafa Silva5/7/2026

building in adjacent territory (workflow discovery agents) and rooting for you, though I'd argue 'roadmap in days' is the easy part and 'adoption' is where everyone dies.

Following up politely: are you replacing the partner-tier consultants or the 24-year-olds making slides at 2am? Genuinely a different product.

what's the headcount shipping this? feels like the kind of thing two people and a Claude key could prototype in a weekend, curious where the moat lives.

A roadmap built in days will be ignored in hours. The bottleneck was never the deck.
